literary marxist criticism

1st year English Lit student: Can anyone recommend a good book as an introduction to literary theory …?
Our tutor has been told it's a good idea to try to become familiar with the various schools of literary theory – Sex / structuralist, feminist, psychoanalytic, Marxist, deconstruction, etc. etc, I've already bought the Norton Anthology of Theory and criticism, but I wonder if there may be some good introductory books that could … uh … take my hand. I thought the purchase of Terry Eagleton Introduction to the Theory of bed, but I'm not sure if it takes a bit of a man "grumpy old man" school approach to thinking (eg, postmodernism) Anyway! If anyone could recommend a good introductory book would be very grateful! Thank you!
In junior, Terry Eagleton is large, bright and always refer to the form and during the trip. The fact that a trailer online especially in the critical movements can actually be compared with other theoretical evidence. The link is below a book bought in college for a level of English Literature. It was a valuable introduction and still refer to it for clarification on the points that are still quite difficult to control, especially when making a critical and cultural theory module. Marxism and Literary Criticism $9.99 Is Marx relevant any more? Why should we care what he wrote? What difference could it make to our reading of literature? Terry Eagleton, one of the foremost critics of our generation, has some answers in this wonderfully clear and readable analysis.
