marx philosophy of history
What to Read Next?

So far, I have read basically the history of philosophy; from the Pre-Socratics to Plato, Aristotle, Zoroaster, Buddha, St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Anselm, Descartes, Kant, Hegel, Schelling, Marx, Emerson, Kierkegaard, Nietzche, Bergson, Sartre, Maritain, Heidegger, Frege, Russell, Whitehead, Godel, onto Deleuze, Badiou, Derrida, just to name a few. Plus I have read most of the Vedanta and Eastern Philosophies. What are the most current Continental and Analytical “definitive” texts?
May I mention that I also have read some works of Freud, Lacan, Jung, and Maslow along with Pynchon, Joyce, Pound, Cervantes, Dante and Milton as well.

That’s an impressive list. I’d recommend going back and reading some more of the ones you liked. I know that Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, Thomas, Maritain, and Kierkegaard all wrote volumes upon volumes. I’m sure that many of the others did, as well.

Arguing that capitalism would create an ever-in…
